Dyckia Tricolor is green with a purplish-red center, and a highly contrasting white back to each leaf. This is why it is aptly named Dyckia Tricolor. The flower spikes are produced in early spring, and will be 3 to 4 feet tall bearing orange flowers. A single headed plant will attain a two foot spread, but each plant will produce larger clusters over time. Dyckia Tricolor can grow in either full sun or shade, but in full sun the center will be much more purple in color. Tricolor has proven to be very cold hardy and tolerated 16F without any major damage. |
